#AduEdu

Adult education as a promoter of democratization and sustainable development of European societies

 Austria

With the mobilities in adult education foreseen in this project, the association is reacting to the need to further train its own staff and initiatives in order to meet the new challenges that have been experienced, especially after the pandemic.

In order to achieve this, it is strongly believed that it is very useful for the people involved in the organisation to participate in European exchanges in the framework of cooperation and joint activities/projects in collaboration with other European educational institutions.

Guided by the framework of the European development plan, the association wishes to address the following topics to a greater extent in collaboration with international partners:

  • Key democratic competences
  • Environmental protection and climate change for adult education
  • Integration and intercultural dialogue

This can have a positive impact on participants, organisations and the local community as it is promoted:

  • fostering the capacity for dialogue with people of different religions and world views,
  • concrete commitment to an attitude of tolerance and understanding,
  • better mutual understanding at both national and international level and, in particular, international exchanges,
  • better political, economic-ethical and ecological understanding, as well as concrete initiatives and commitments in this field, in particular scientific debates on these issues.

Target group: adults, volunteers and staff.
